Water Wells

The Waterwell is a special extension ministry of ZFM. The program is very simple:

Rural Indian women spend an average of four hours daily by walk and carrying the drinking water from ponds and lakes. This is the same water used for bathing, laundry and watering cattle.

When the people are drinking this unclean water immediately they get dieses and sick with cholera, diarrhea, typhoid, roundworm, hepatitis, dysentery and are dying.

More than 3 million children under the age of five die each year from illness associated with contaminated drinking water. It is estimated that over 80% of India's population does not have access to clean drinking water.

In India, most life-threatening disease stems from impure drinking water which is collected from ponds and lakes.

When the Lord is providing additional funds for water wells immediately the ZFM is drilling fresh-water wells that supply clean, running water to support the daily water needs of an entire village.

You can sponsor the drilling of a fresh-water well in India for $1,200 U.S. dollars that will provide a daily supply of clean-running water to an average of 500 people.

ZFM believes that the expression of Jesus has to be in both word and deed. We present the gospel in word and through acts of kindness that can greatly help them.
